Following a very busy fortnight where Tops and Uppers girls could be found researching and costing their ideas,
making sample products and working on Powerpoint presentations at every opportunity, on Wednesday afternoon
they were excited, if a little nervous, to finally pitch their team’s enterprise ideas to Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin
Money dragons during their Enrichment lesson.
Having delivered their presentation, they fielded questions from
the dragons about their target audience, financial analysis, product design and marketing. Taking on board the
dragons’ comments, it is now full steam ahead to bring each group’s ideas to fruition ready for their stalls at the
Christmas Fayre. For this project, each pupil is being loaned £5 by Virgin Money which they need to make grow.
Once the loan has been repaid, all profits from Uppers’ and Tops’ stalls will be donated to charity. Please do support
their entrepreneurial efforts – they are having so much fun learning about the world of business!
