Despite the uncertain nature of the English weather, our whole school trip to the RHS gardens at
Wisley went ahead as planned.
With clipboards to the fore, the girls investigated a huge variety of flora including exotic food
plants in the glasshouse and fragrant herbs in the sensory garden.
We ate our lunch alfresco and then explored the diversity of flowers, discovering that they come in all colours including green. Here are some of their comments:
“The orchids in the glasshouse were beautiful and vibrant with so many different colours” Grace (Tops)
“I really enjoyed looking at the waterfall in the glasshouse and the cacti were very prickly!” Alice (Middles)
