We call tomorrow an ‘Open Morning ’, which is true, but in reality it is a showcase for the girls to share their talents across a variety of activities, in addition to their academic achievements.
Parents, grandparents and family friends come to Bramley to see what their daughters and granddaughters have been doing at school. We take the opportunity to run some workshops – this year on Computing and Cheerleading, which all the girls get the chance to try.
There is also an E-Safety workshop for parents being held, where we highlight some strategies for implementing a safe digital environment for all the family.
Families who have not yet joined Bramley come along as well to see what the school can offer their daughter. The girls lead tours of the school. Parents and Governors are on hand to answer questions and the teaching staff available to clarify curriculum and subject queries.
The Junior Choir perform and both the Head Girl and Deputy Head Girl, along with Ms Burgess, the Headmistress, give short speeches – we fit a great deal into our 2 hours!
It is a Bramley community event with fun and learning as the central theme – a true reflection of Bramley everyday really … do come along and see for yourself.
