Extended Day Care
Bramley has a range of daycare available that allows girls to be cared for before school starts and at the end of the school day.

  • BEFORE SCHOOL CARE
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club (which is available to girls in Little Bramley to Tops) takes place in the Dining Room and girls are able to arrive at school from 7:45am to 8:15am. Breakfast is provided which consists of cereal, toast, milk and orange juice. The girls are registered as soon as they arrive and Ms Burgess and George Lumley-Sharpe (our Catering Manager) looks after them. Please note that, therefore, there will be no member of staff in the main building before 8am. Therefore, for Health & Safety reasons, all girls arriving between 7:45am and 8:15am must go directly to the Dining Room. The charge for the Breakfast Club is £3 per morning session if your daughter has breakfast and £2.25 per morning session if she does not. This will be charged separately at the end of each half term.

If you would like your daughter to attend Breakfast Club, please complete a form which is available from the School Office. It is helpful for us to know numbers in advance for catering purposes; however, we are able to provide breakfast to girls on a drop-in basis. All girls who arrive on the school site before 8:15am will be considered a Breakfast Club girl and parents will be charged accordingly. Should you think that at some time you may need to use this facility, then it is important that you complete the Breakfast Club form so we have your daughter's details in the Breakfast Club Register (especially if your daughter has any food allergies or special dietary requirements). For Health & Safety reasons, your daughter will not be able to attend this Club unless you have completed a form.

Early Morning Club
Girls (from Little Bramley to Tops) can arrive at the Dining Room from between 8:15am and 8:30am where they will be supervised by a member of staff in the Dining Room. From 8:30am, girls are asked to go to their class or form rooms where they will be greeted by their teacher.

  • AFTER SCHOOL CARE

Late Provision Club
Girls from Lowers to Tops (Years 3-6) may stay at school until 5:30pm each night if they wish. (Girls in Little Bramley to Year 2 are already provided for in Discoverers' until 5:30pm.) Girls who stay for Late Provision will attend Homework Club or extra-curricular activities until 5pm and then they will go to a member of the Senior Leadership Team (Ms Burgess, Mrs Dearlove, Mrs Blake or Mrs Hamilton) where they will be looked after until 5:30pm when they must be collected. If you wish to use the Late Provision for your daughter, please telephone the School Office on the day so your daughter can be added to the register. Currently, there is no charge for this provision.

Discoverers' Club

This is designed for girls aged 3-7 years old and is held in the Little Bramley classroom. It runs from 3pm until 5:30pm. Discoverers' is led by two qualified Early Years Specialist members of staff who plan activities to suit this age group. There is a charge for this facility and places are secured by contacting a member of staff in Little Bramley or Ms Palmer-Simmons in the School Office if at short notice on the day. A medical form, available from the School Office, must be completed prior to a girl attending Bramley Discoverers'. Whilst the Club is offered on an ad hoc basis, it is helpful to know in advance if your daughter is to attend, to enable sufficient materials to be made available.

Homework Club
This Club is designed for girls aged 7-11 years and is held in one of the form rooms or the ICT suite. Homework Club is supervised by a member of staff and provides an opportunity for the girls to complete their homework on site before going home. It runs from 4pm until 5pm. Parents should inform the School Office if their daughter is going to stay for Homework Club.

There are also various extra-curricular activities which take place after school.
