Pastoral Care
pastoral1.jpgGirls are learning all the time, not just through their academic subjects but also in the way that they communicate with others and the way that they conduct themselves within the wider community.

Pastoral care of the girls at Bramley School is paramount. Class teachers and form teachers are responsible for the care and happiness of each child and an ‘Open Door’ policy exists which allows every girl immediate access to a teacher should a problem arise.

Daily assemblies emphasise Christian values within a non-denominational framework and challenges girls to consider various aspects of their relationships with others and their part in the community. Curriculum time is dedicated to Personal, Social, Health Education and Citizenship allowing further reflection time and this, combined with the assemblies, allows girls to develop socially, morally and ethically.

The ‘Open Door’ policy also allows parents easy access to members of staff and parents are actively encouraged to participate in all aspects of school life.

Our Head of Pastoral Care and Deputy Child Protection Officer is Mrs J Hamilton who's also part of the Senior Management Team. The Headteacher is the Child Protection Officer.
