Every child in the School receives a full written report twice a year. In addition, at the Autumn Half Term and at the end of the Spring Term, girls from Lowers upwards are given grades that show both effort and attainment. Grades are as follows: Attainment A* Outstanding A Excellent A/B Sometimes excellent, sometimes good B Good B/C Sometimes minimum required standard, sometimes in need of improvement C Minimum required standard C/D Sometimes minimum required standard, sometimes in need of improvement D Marked need of improvement Effort 1* Outstanding 1 Excellent 1/2 Sometimes excellent, sometimes good 2 Good 2/3 Sometimes good, sometimes minimum required level 3 Minimum required level 3/4 Sometimes minimum required level, sometimes in need of improvement 4 Marked need for improvement At the end of Year 2, girls take the Key Stage 1 SATs tests in Mathematics and English. From Lowers upwards, formal examinations are held twice a year, usually in October and May. Results of these examinations are discussed with the girls and given in the end-of-term reports. The progress and potential of each Bramley girl is carefully monitored by teachers and overseen by the Senior Leadership Team. If the staff have any concerns about any girl, then parents are invited to discuss these concerns with their daughter's teacher so that an intervention plan can be put in place. |
