The Science syllabus is based on the National Curriculum and Common Entrance Examination requirements (now known as the ISEB - Independent Schools' Examination Board). This challenging curriculum allows girls to progress to a level well beyond that expected of most Year 6 pupils.
Science learning and teaching takes place in the Science Laboratory and has a great emphasis on practical science skills such as designing and conducting experiments and observing and concluding experiments.
Girls are encouraged to apply their scientific knowledge to everyday living thus making their learning relevant and useful.
