How the Fees are Calculated
School fees are set by the Governors during the Summer Term for the coming academic year.
Payment of Fees
The fees should be paid to the School Office by the first day of each term. Fees may be paid by cheque or BACS Transfer, sort code 30-90-44, account no. 18104568. One term’s notice in writing is required before a pupil is withdrawn, or a term’s fees must be paid in lieu of notice.
Please advise the Finance Secretary immediately if fees cannot be settled by the first day of term so a payment schedule can be agreed. Invoices are sent out at the end of each term and these include any additional items such as the cost of outings, milk etc.
Accident Insurance Inclusion
School fees will include the Pupils’ Personal Accident Insurance (incorporating dental insurance). Details are sent out with the Bramley Starter Pack.
Fee Protection Insurance
The School operates an insurance policy, through Marsh Ltd, that enables school fees to be refunded if a pupil is away by reason of sickness, accident or quarantine. ‘In order to receive this benefit, a termly charge is added to the invoice, however it is optional and parents are required to complete an application if they wish to take advantage of this scheme.
Nursery Education Grant
The Nursery Education Grant is a Government initiative that provides funding for Early Years education for 3-4 year olds. The Grant entitles all 3-4 year olds 15 hours of free Early Years education per week for up to 38 weeks per year for six terms, from the term after your daughter turns 3 years of age up to the end of the term in which your daughter turns 5 years of age.
Bramley is open for between 34-35 weeks per year and the Grant offered is 34-35/38ths of the Grant available.
The Finance Secretary will send the relevant forms on the first day of term. The forms must be returned within the given timescale in order to be in receipt of the Grant.
Additionally, Bramley is pleased to accept Childcare Vouchers (until your daughter reaches 5 years of age and then they can be used for Discoverers) and you should discuss this with the Finance Secretary, Mrs Keri Smith, email@example.com.
Bursaries may be available, from Year 1 upwards, at the Governors discretion. Bursaries are means tested and reviewed annually. For further information please contact the Finance Secretary, Mrs Keri Smith, firstname.lastname@example.org.

Bramley Bursary Awards
Following the success of our recent Independent School Inspection Report (ISI February 2016) the Governors have made funds available for a small number of bursaries at Bramley. These ‘Bramley Awards’ will be offered to girls from the local area who would like to join Year 5 (age 9-10 years) from September 2016.
The Bramley Awards will allow girls whose families would not otherwise consider independent education, to benefit from an excellent subject specialist curriculum which, through its breadth and richness, will prepare them thoroughly for the senior school of their choice.
Each Bramley Award is a means tested bursary which aims to make a difference to girls who would like to develop a talent or passion at Bramley.
For further information and to apply for a Bramley Award please contact the Bursar, Mrs Tanya Grant, email@example.com.
